Christmas for Editors

mhALEVwWhat does Christmas look like for editors? Well, it isn’t that much different from Christmas for anyone else, as a matter of fact we are humans too. There are two main differences, our Christmas lists and our Christmas schedules.

First things first, Christmas lists. Inquiring minds want to know what editors have on their wish lists. Books mostly. Sometimes there are fun book-themed items, like phone cases with book shelves, bookends, book jewelry, book scented candles, book mugs, book toothbrushes–are you seeing a theme here? Gold ribbons are always a nice touch.

Now to schedules, what does an editor’s holiday schedule look like? Editors don’t usually take vacations. If they make a deadline with you, an editor should meet it, regardless what that means.

Think of your own Christmas lists and consider doing something you have always wanted to do. Treat yourself this year and finish that book you want to publish. An editor can help.

Jenny and Krystal, you two did an outstanding job correcting my quotes and restructuring many sentences throughout the 307 pages. The final edits will assist Harden's Shadows in reaching our readers with ten generations of promising stories spanning 300 years. You are truly my Author's Editors. It is my pleasure to recommend Pypeline Editing. You provided a thoroughly professional experience for a new author.”
