Tastes of fall: When your idea tank is empty, try fueling up with some delicious food. Take shelter in a coffeehouse and write while enjoying a pumpkin-flavored drink. You can also indulge in some Halloween candy as a reward for writing.
Fall scenery: Fall is a beautiful season, so if it is not too cold, spend as much time as you can outside. Take a stroll and let yourself be inspired by the beautiful scenery, such as leaves changing colors and falling to the ground or girls wearing Ugg boots and drinking pumpkin-spiced lattes.
Fall activities: There is no shortage of activities in fall. Go to a pumpkin patch, a corn maze, or go jump in that pile of leaves your neighbor just raked up. Hopefully, one or more of these activities will motivate you to write. Perhaps when you are going through a corn maze you will come up with the next Children of the Corn.
Fall decorating: Get your creative juices flowing by decorating. Decorate for Halloween or just for the season. You can even carve a pumpkin to look like your favorite literary character.
