How to Contact an Editor

editing-ratesHave you finished your book? That’s great! Congratulations! Stupendous! Other Words of Encouragement! Don’t let those first few sentences jade you, finishing a book is a huge accomplishment and you should be proud. We are. Now you are contemplating how to go forward with your book, am I right? Never fear, we are here to give you tips on that.

  1. Research: Once you have finished your story, you need to find the right editor for you. The Internet makes things easier that way, so research editors online and focus on some key factors (may we suggest an older blog with some helpful tips on that?)
  2. Contact: Once you have found the perfect editor for you (*Cough *Cough) find the contact information and reach out! Whether you are an emailer or a phone caller, reach out to those editors and setup a meeting or ask for a quote.
  3. Celebrate: Did you contact someone? Great, now celebrate, that is one less decision to make!

Congratulations again on your book. Share your success with Pypeline Editing!

Jenny and Krystal, you two did an outstanding job correcting my quotes and restructuring many sentences throughout the 307 pages. The final edits will assist Harden's Shadows in reaching our readers with ten generations of promising stories spanning 300 years. You are truly my Author's Editors. It is my pleasure to recommend Pypeline Editing. You provided a thoroughly professional experience for a new author.”
